Exhibition on Painting & Handicraft

“Rupaangan” an institute with fame in society works for painting and handicrafts, had organized  an exhibition on painting and handicraft from 28th to 30th April 2017 at Gallery Gold, Kolkata.It’s a wonderful world of color & brush at Gallery Gold. Not only brush paintings but various modes of paintings were there. A wonderful collage of artist’s mind came in audience’s view.

Near about 80 numbers of artists participated in this exhibition which was held at Gallery Gold Kolkata organized by the founder of fine arts Rupaangan. Artists of all ages participated here.

Agriculture is one of the main streams of our society.Krishi Karmon Award was awarded to the Agricultural Department of Government of West Bengal for five consecutive years. To grow more and more interest in agriculture and plantation among peoples of society Rupangan students displayed there some paintings and handicrafts based on agriculture and agricultural goods. This was one of the main attractions of our exhibition also.

This Exhibition was inaugurated by our honorable Agriculture Minister Mr.Purnendu Basu, eminent dancer Smt.Alokananda Roy and All India Fine Arts Association’s Secretary Mr.Indarajeet Basu.

Smt. Roy stated her gratitude by saying-“Painting is an art-a self expression. This expression need to touch human minds and this exhibition is a great idea to project that. Those who loves art and painting, they all came to see this exhibition. The organizers of this exhibition are already planning for more projects to launch like this in near future.
